Unsolicited Submission Policy

 

Slam City does not accept, review, or consider unsolicited submissions of any kind. This includes, without limitation, scripts, screenplays, stories, ideas, concepts, formats, treatments, outlines, pitches, artwork, characters, production concepts, marketing concepts, or other creative or business materials, whether submitted by email, mail, website contact form, social media, text message, or any other means.

Please do not send any unsolicited submissions to Slam City or any of its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, affiliates, or partners.

 

If You Submit Material Anyway: If you nevertheless send or transmit any unsolicited submission to Slam City, you acknowledge and agree that:

 

1. No obligation to review.
Slam City has no obligation to review, evaluate, acknowledge, respond to, return, or maintain any unsolicited submission.

 

2. No confidentiality.
Your submission is not made in confidence, and no confidential, fiduciary, agency, implied-in-fact, or other special relationship is created between you and Slam City by virtue of your submission.

 

3. No compensation.
You understand and agree that you are not entitled to any compensation, payment, reimbursement, credit, or other consideration of any kind in connection with your submission or Slam City’s use, non-use, review, deletion, or disposal of it.

 

4. No restriction on use.
Slam City and its affiliates may already be developing, or may in the future develop, acquire, option, produce, distribute, or exploit materials that are similar or identical to your submission in theme, plot, format, characters, title, concept, style, or other respects. You waive any claim against Slam City arising from any alleged similarity between your submission and any current or future Slam City project, provided Slam City has not entered into a separate written agreement signed by an authorized representative expressly stating otherwise.

 

5. No duty to keep or return materials.
Slam City may delete, discard, destroy, or ignore any unsolicited submission without notice to you and without liability.

 

6. No agreement unless in writing.
No rights are granted to you, and no obligation is assumed by Slam City, unless and until Slam City enters into a separate written agreement signed by an authorized representative of Slam City expressly accepting the submission under specified terms.

 

7. Submit at your own risk.
Any person who submits unsolicited material does so voluntarily and entirely at their own risk.
